Customer Issues

We would like to ensure consistency across all languages, especially for the UI terminology on the actual device and commonly used terms in the manual text.

Since the revision versions differ by language, we aim to standardize them to the latest version and request translation only for the differences between each version to reduce costs.

Details of implementation

Localization was carried out for 23 languages, including Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Greek, Turkish, Czech, Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Estonian, Lithuanian, Swedish, Hungarian, Portuguese, Romanian, Ukrainian, and Russian, based on the English version. Additionally, we standardized each language version to match the latest English version, and by focusing on only the pages that required changes, additions, or deletions, this approach enabled us to deliver efficient and cost-effective translation and production services to the client.

InfoTrans Approach

When rolling out continuous model or series products overseas, product launch dates can vary significantly across countries and regions, making manual updates and management highly complex. As a result, we often receive inquiries from clients struggling to maintain information consistency and currency. For example, consider a product series where new features are added annually. In Europe, where the product was sold last year, updating the instruction manual only requires adding the new function C to last year’s version B. However, in Asia, where the product is being launched after a two-year gap, the manual needs to incorporate the initial version A along with new functions B and C. Consequently, the required workload—including translation and page count—varies substantially by country and region, necessitating careful management. At InfoTrans, we prioritize guiding our clients through essential tasks while ensuring high-quality, swift, and cost-effective multilingual localization services.
